What do we stand for?

In this deeply polarized time, the compassion and pragmatism of the UCG is more needed than ever. We stand firmly against demagogues that wish to undermine the foundations of our democracy and muffle your voice. Join the UCG and help us create a fair, humane system where everyone can live in peace and prosperity.

Mixed economy

We take the innovation and entrepreneurial initiative of free-market capitalism and guide it with the social consciousness of Social Democracy, aiming for a better future for all.

Foreign policy

Our main objective on foreign policy is to use diplomacy and avoid war at all costs by making agreements to solve international problems. 

Social policy

We are all connected. In order to live happy lives we must not only protect our own interests, but the interests of everyone, regardless of political affiliation.

Our community

Nobody can be right on every issue. The only way for us to right each other’s wrongs is through honest dialogue. That is why we listen to all sides and opinions, evaluate them pragmatically and modify our opinions in the face of new evidence. If you have anything you disagree with, please let us know.
